PROGRAM PARTNER COLLABORATION FRAMEWORK
This document is intended to illustrate the typical structure under which independent educators, practitioners, researchers, farmers, artists, and program providers collaborate with Silverbrook Manor.
INDEPENDENT OPERATOR STATUS
Upon acceptance as a Program Partner, the Program Partner remains an independent business and retains ownership of its brand, intellectual property, curriculum, equipment, livestock, inventory, tools, and operating assets.
The Program Partner is responsible for all investments necessary to deliver its products, services, workshops, educational offerings, or agricultural activities.
Silverbrook Manor is not responsible for financing, purchasing, leasing, maintaining, or insuring assets required for the Program Partner’s business operations.
SILVERBROOK IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS
Subject to availability and approval, Silverbrook may provide:
• Access to permitted gathering spaces
• Access to designated farm areas
• Event coordination support
• Inclusion on the Silverbrook calendar
• Promotion through newsletters and social media
• Registration support through approved systems
• Parking, guest arrival, and site logistics
• Access to existing community members
• Brand association with Silverbrook Manor
• Use of approved shared facilities
Estimated value of in-kind contributions may exceed several thousand dollars per event depending on scope.
PROGRAM PARTNER RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Partner shall provide:
• Subject matter expertise
• Program design and delivery
• Required equipment and materials
• Staff and volunteers
• Insurance coverage where applicable
• Licenses and permits required for their activities
• Livestock, animals, tools, hives, educational materials, and other operational assets
• Participant safety protocols specific to their activity
REVENUE STRUCTURE
Unless otherwise agreed:
Option A
Program Partner pays a venue fee and retains workshop revenue.
Option B
Revenue-sharing arrangement negotiated in advance.
Option C
Silverbrook purchases tickets at wholesale rates for resale to members and guests.
SILVERBROOK MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
As a collaboration partner, Silverbrook may waive certain fees as a co-investment in the relationship.
Potential benefits may include:
• Complimentary Individual Farm Club Membership
• Access to member gatherings
• Participation in community events
• Eligibility to submit programs for consideration
• Access to designated co-working or gathering areas when available
• Inclusion in seasonal programming guides
These benefits are provided at Silverbrook’s discretion and do not create tenancy rights, ownership rights, agricultural rights, or exclusive access.
SITE RULES
All partners agree to:
• Respect private residence areas
• Follow farm safety protocols
• Maintain clean workspaces
• Remove all materials and equipment after use unless otherwise approved
• Obtain written approval before constructing, installing, or storing equipment onsite
• Obtain written approval before bringing animals onto the property
• Comply with all local, county, state, and federal laws
NO OWNERSHIP INTEREST
Use of the property does not create:
• Ownership rights
• Equity interests
• Agricultural tenancy rights
• Long-term occupancy rights
• Rights to future programming dates
COLLABORATION PRINCIPLE
Silverbrook seeks partnerships where both parties contribute meaningful value.
Silverbrook contributes land, infrastructure, audience, community, operational support, and promotional resources.
Program Partners contribute their expertise, programming, equipment, inventory, livestock, intellectual property, and business investments.
The goal is a balanced relationship in which each organization invests in its own mission while creating value together.
