A Wild Spring Walk

  • Silverbrook Manor 2728 U.S. 44 Millbrook, NY, 12545 United States (map)

There’s a brief moment in spring when the land offers itself freely—wild, vibrant, and gone before you know it.

At Silverbrook Manor, we step into that window together.

We’ll walk the land and learn to recognize what’s rising now—wild onions, garlic, and tender nettles—plants that have fed people quietly for generations. You’ll harvest your own bundle, guided by season, intuition, and respect for the land.

We return for light refreshments and a shared recipe exchange—simple, social, and designed to carry the experience forward into your own kitchen.

What You’ll Experience

  • Guided forage + plant identification

  • Hands-on gathering (your take-home bundle)

  • Light seasonal refreshments

  • A collaborative recipe swap (compiled and shared after)

    Duration: ~2–3 hours

    Capacity: 15 guests max

What to bring: Comfortable shoes, a basket (optional), bug repellent, and a recipe if you’d like to share
